Here is the ultimate list of ALL the Duolingo languages and courses available for each native language. This list of every Duolingo language available may even inspire you to start learning a language you haven’t thought of trying before! Let’s get started.
How Many Languages Does Duolingo Have?
Duolingo has 41 languages available currently. However, not every course is available depending on what your native language is.
For example, 39 of those languages are available to English speakers.
English obviously is not going to be offered to English Speakers, and the two other courses not available to English speakers are Catalán which is only available to Spanish speakers, and Cantonese which is only available for Chinese (Mandarin) speakers.
UPDATE: Duolingo has taken away the Guaraní course for Spanish speakers, as well as the Esperanto course that used to be available for Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian speakers.
Want to take your language learning to the next level? If you’re ready to go beyond Duolingo, italki is the absolute best language resource out there. Take one-on-one classes with native speakers online for less than $10.
